Selling whole chicken at farmers market?

ahaha reminds me of my family goin to the market and getting live birds, anything gamey goes, no cornish cross, no fluffy breeds like orpingtons, rir and ee ect... fun days those were and my dad loves to bargain for a good deal to but i hate haggling even though some prices r unreasonable

All meat vendors at our local farmer's market sell it frozen in shrink wrapped bags. They only offer whole birds at this time.

Our farmers market sells beef, chicken, pork, and sheep. The meat has to be processed and labeled at an inspected facility. Then the farmers bring the frozen, shrink wrapped meats in a cooler. I've bought whole chicken and chicken parts, all manner of pork cuts, and plenty of beef there.

The best marketing was the lady who made tiny biscuits and brought an electric skillet. She fried up tiny sausage patties, slapped them in tiny biscuits and let people sample them. The smell of sausage frying and the flavor of that little morsel sold a ton of sausage for her.
