What plants do chickens like?

My chicks love peas. I have not put them in whole yet and they don't eat the pods but the shelled ones that are too big for me to eat get thrown right in and they fight over them. Am interested in the display of "herbs beneficial to chicks" posting. Waiting anxiously for that list!
 
I'd love that list too. I can't wait until I get the coop delivered on Friday. I want to set it up and decide on a spot for it in the yard. I'm really looking forward to picking out my new birds the first saturday of February too. It's going to be a lot of fun. Would love to find something to plant for them that would give them shade that they could also pick at and enjoy that grew faster than a small flock of 4 could demolish.
 
marigolds, mine love them ,My four are new this spring what will be good in the winter when we're 4' under snow, Just the're commercial feed?
