Streaming Netflix instead of Satellite or Cable TV?

That's what we did and we couldn't be happier! We have the converter for our three local channels and Netflix for everything else. They have a TON of television shows on their anyways thAt we never would have gotten into otherwise.

Aughhg!!! I cannot tell you how frustrating this is! If I'm tryinto nap with the tv on I get woken up everytime there is a commercial, but even worse is when I am watchin the 10 o clock news quietly and my boyfriend Is sleeping in the next room. I have to Be on top of the volume control otherwise the commercials blast on and wake him up, making him think I am just inconsiderately watching loud tv. It makes me soooooo mad!
 
We have used netflix instead of cable for a couple years now, and we love it!
Cable or satellite is expensive and after the initial first month of getting caught up on the shows we found that most of the stuff on Satellite was repeats or the same movie over and over. Also with netflix we can watch on our schedule without having to pay for Tivo. No one is whining that they have to be home by such and such time to watch their favorite show.
