Will a young rooster do the egg squat?

I'm still on the fence about one of my chickens really being a girl. They are 20 weeks.  All 3 of them will do the squat for me and I'm curious if I can quit holding my breath and just wait for eggs...or will immature roos do this as well?

I'm thinking everyone squatting is a good sign......

Without a picture  I'm guessing all pullets.  The one you are nervous about may be closest to laying.  If there is no crowing, you are in even better shape.

Sounds like you have all hens, just about ready to lay! thumbsup

Don't get all your exercise leaping to conclusions!

Poultry- they may be your pets, they may be your hobby, they may be your livestock. But remember, if you fall down in the pen, unconscious? They WILL eat you.

Logically I knew the answer...I mean it's called an 'egg' squat for a reason right??! wink I'm getting eggs from 1 already so now I'll just sit back and wait for the other 2 to start.
