Aww haha. It feels SO amazing to get on a incredibly well trained horse and have them respond immediately, but it's not as gratifying for me as teaching a young or green horse how to do something. When they finally get it I'm so proud. smile.png
My new OTTB is very green, and he trips a lot. He will learn though. My other gelding is way better then he used to be... I think they just need time and lots of riding so they learn to watch where they are going and pick up their feet.

Me on our new mare Ann. She's heavy in the mouth, and responds kinda slow. I think it's just because of not being ridden in a while. We've got a short shank low port curb bit on her, they're supposed to work well with Foxtrotters.

What she is hen is a Quarter horse originally built for racing, they are very nice horses, I however like their western cousins.

PS. Someone might get some enjoyment out of this.

Hey folks, long time..:/

Since were talking about horses I'll contribute (duh) :P  It depends what I'm riding, if I'm riding English, larger horses are def my piece of cake.  Western for me is smaller, agile horses.  (Unless it's Trail, then anything really)
