I got my babies and later the rest that came to me so I planned on 6,
Got shorted one (male black runner) a replacement was sent to the person that ordered but didn't make it either...
then got 6 more form the other person that was splitting the order with me. So now I had 11

My 5 white layers 2 are male... GRRrrrrr.

Going to call them Monday- too late in the year for me to try to get babies...

(yes I ordered them sexed)

Is metzer a good place to get geese? (should I ask this in the geese forums?) I want to order a pair of pilgrims from them

I hear it is. Thats where I was gonna get my geese. But my mom said no. lol.

A small flock of ducks (3 welsh harlequins and a rouen) a pair of american geese, a lovely anatiolian shepherd, and 10 ducklings ariving on march 18th!!!!!!

I bought 12 eggs from Metzer. 13 came TOTALLY unbroken and clean as could be. ALL 13 of them began forming. 10 hatched (3 died due to incubator complications later in incubation)

Metzer has gathered some of the best quality of waterfowl, including geese. Their latest was Buff Geese from the Holderreads. Metzer offers both a duck and goose breed comparrison charts. these tell how close to the Standard their birds are.

I really like that they provide this info on the quality of their waterfowl!
