Something I've been pondering these past days, as
we waited on this thread to turn one year old.
Hi-jacked by the Queen on 7-20-11.
Will be one year old on 7-20-12.
But is that really so?
365 days in a year. 366 days in this instance since
it was a February leap year, 29 days.
From 7-20-11 until 7-20-12 would be 367 days. Clearly
over a year.
Let's say someone was born on January 1, as the new
year begins.
The new year begins and will end on December 31. Yet
the person born on January 1 will not be another year
older until the next day...January 1 again.
So aren't we really....so many years and a "day" when we
have a birthday?
And if there are really only 365 days in a year, how do we
count leap days? Will this thread be a year and two days on
Friday?
Spook....always confused
