I have 2 pilgrim geese that I hatched out- and thought they were both female. they both had lots of gray on them and now that they are really getting feathered, I am not sure. One is pretty solid grey, but the other seems to be developing white feathers instead of the grey ones "she " originally started growing. what do you guys think?? Do the males start out sorta gray and then turn white? (they are about 2 -3 months old.)

Yep, I think they are probably female also. would love to find them a boyfriend. Have to start looking for hatching eggs, I guess.

thanks for the help

Thanks for the pics. I think mine are about 6-7 weeks old. I checked the one that is starting to tunn from gray to white and it looks like it has dark blue eyes compared to the other one. But it isn't all feathered out like yours which is really beautiful by the way. I'll keep you up on it's progress and get a pic ASAP

Yes, definitely a little gander. 100% sure!

I had a little "Victor/Victoria" too -- looked EXACTLY like my definite female gosling Rose, and was much darker in the bill and down than my definite male gosling Jack. So, I called "her" Constance for 3 weeks, until I wasn't sure.

Constance turned into a William.
