I have some silkie chicks and some duccle silkie chicks that are about 1 to 2 months old maybe some a little younger.  The duccle mixes are really good flyers and i am sure they would be great for any backyard and for kids they are just a little skiddish.  Only one silkie is vaulted skulled and the rest rnt, they range from black to a light blue and some have some coppery coloring at the base of there neck.  The vaulted chick is 4 dollars and the rest are 2.  They are pickup only in Lapeer MI 48446.

The vaulted one is a light blue.

Here are some pics of them:

They are cute! love To bad we happen to be several hundred miles apart!

I have 20 chickens, two cats, 3 dogs, and live on 20 acres in the country. Chickens are my hobby. I am continually working to better my chicken practices and to better my flocks. Don't let a bad day make you think that you have a bad life. Live, learn, and enjoy the ride folks.

Sooo cute! tongue I actually have some chicks that look almost identical to the little mille fleur/silkie crosses. I know that mine are part Silkie, but she free ranged before she layed the eggs and several different roosters where mating her. My Mille Fleur rooster followed her every where, but there was another roo that had some Campine in his genes who I had thought was the father until I saw your Mille Fleur crosses.

Zotz, Chantilly, and White Fang. smile

The Campine colored pullet in the middle I would have SWORN that her father was the rooster with the Campine grandparent, but now I must admit that it was indeed "Weird",  my Mille Fleur roo, who fertilized those eggs barnie (I hate that rooster, lol). One of the chicks in pictures #3 & #4 actually even has the same black pattern on it's wings that one of mine has all over her body! Now I know how to reproduce that color in my birds. Thanks for the awesome pics big_smile
