how old were they?

mine was a sex-link at 3 months of age.

I am not sure I am still waiting for the first eggs.

Chickens a hobby or a job, not really sure but it it fun to do!

A wonderful husband, 2 dogs, 5 cats, More chickens than I can keep up with, a son with his cat.

RSL - 16 Weeks

Suzie - Wife to my high school sweetheart & mommy to 3 amazing kiddos! Our "zoo" consist of 2 dogs, 4 crayfish, 7 chickens, & alot of fish!! Im also proud a vet tech & foster mom for a local Boxer rescue!!

Black Australorp, 18 weeks 1 day

1 Healer, 1 Husband, 1 Dog, 2 Cats, 9 hens, 1 rooster, 7 pullets  (15 BAs and 2 California Whites), a plecostomus and 18 goldfish on the edge of an Enchanted Forest

Unbelievable that you had a 12 week old bird start laying. My earliest was 16 weeks. I have raised hundreds of birds over the years. Do you have a picture of the bird?
