just thought I'd share DH's newest pride and joy...a peach peachick hatched from our pen with a silver pied split peach male, two black shoulder peach hens and silver pied hens.  pictures (and my unsteady hand doing so) aren't doing this baby justice, sooo cute! smile 

first pic is just the peach, second is with a pied (for contrast).

Pretty.... can't wait to see it feathered out.

Keeper of 27 hens,  4 PW Leghorns, 1 leghorn mix, 1 FBCMarans, 1 Australorp, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 Mama Olive Egger, 1 Olive Egger broody, 1 EE, a Barred Rock, a RIR, a CQ, 1 Delaware, 1 Black Star, a Splash Ameraucana, 3 W/BW Ameraucanas, 5 polish, 2 Welsummers and exactly 63 chicks of various breeds. and 25 eggs in the bator. YIKES!

LOL, i actually never noticed until i uploaded them but yes there are a couple white feathers on each wing.  thumbsup very excited to see this one feather out...and hoping it's a BOY.

odds good it could be a male ,if so then its from the BS peach hens.....if from the silver pied hen then its a peach dark pied white eye.

It is a peach peachick, you would need a cameo to get cameo when you breed peach to peach you get peach.......

X2, we do not have any cameo peafowl and are quite familiar with the lineage of the parents.
