Can someone tell me if this is a pullet or roo?

Does anyone have information, or pictures, regarding the development of the Mottled Java's? I hatched 7 eggs and only one looks to be a female. The other 6 are developing their combs and wattles, but at 12 weeks are not very big. The legs on a couple of them are very thick, so I am guessing they are males. Rather than feeding them until they crow, or seriously look like roosters, or spending $20 ea. to have them DNA sexed, I would like to find someone with answers. The internet seems to only have repeated information - 2nd oldest breed, brown eggs, 6 - 10 lbs. erc. Advertising them has gotten no replies.

Oh my gosh. They sure do look like mine, as far as development goes. Guessing I may indeed have 6 roosters out of the 7 eggs. Thanks for posting!

Here are some pictures of my Mottled Javas at hatch, 2 weeks, 4-5 weeks and current photo at 10 weeks.

As you can see, they have yellow and black down on hatch, with the black and white feathers coming in soon after. All babies have different markings. My chickens are basically black on the back with white markings in the chest and undercarriage, as is the flock I got them from.

The two babies that have mostly black on the head are a Java/Crevecoeur cross. There happened to be one lone Crevecoeur hen in the Java flock I got my eggs from. Java eggs are very large and light brown and the Crevecoeur eggs are white, so it was easy to tell who was who upon hatch.

Last spring one of my local feed stores had some chicks that caught my eye because they were so pretty and unusual looking. Grabbed 2, got home and looked them up, Mottled Java. I love these two pullets so much I want to find more! They were skittish as chicks, then bullied a little as youths, and after they started laying they are so friendly! They are so pretty and I want to find more! I was raising Ameraucana's in 4 color varieties, but I must say that I would love to focus on these Mottled Java.
