I don't know if this is all accurate info or not--but a lot of it has to be. Just thought it was something to think about.
When I first saw this Judy, I did some research. I found that most of it is pretty close.
Even if the numbers are not spot on, it's not hard to prove that Nazi Germany, China, Uganda, Russia and all the others did indeed exterminate defenseless members of their society, once the ability to fight back was stripped from them.
The Aussie numbers fluctuate, depending on who you read, but the fact that crime of all kinds still exists and has increased in some areas - and especially within certain groups - is already proven.
It's the point of the information that matters here. When all humans become benevolent members of a greater human race, caring more for others than oneself - then guns will be rendered moot by virtue of their conspicuous uselessness. This includes governments
Until then, there will be those who intend to prey on and control others for whatever reason, both private and within governments. Be it guns, or cars or knives or bludgeons or laws and security mandates, I'd prefer to be able to fight back on equal terms - as opposed to handing over my right to protect myself and waiting for someone else to officially come to my rescue.
