Hi everyone!  I'm in Sandy Hook, CT.  I just got my pullets on Thursday and I am having SO much fun with them.  big_smile.png

I got them from Carolyn (http://www.backyardchickens.com/u/94364/catscrazycoop), in New York, who is raising some adorable chickens!

My chicks are 7 weeks old today, and spent their first night outside in the coop last night. I was awake and
outside at 5:15 this morning to check on them, and they were fine. I let them out into the run, they then experienced their first rain( the run is covered ).They were kind of nervous about the sound of the rain hitting
to roof. It was just a shower and after about 1 minute they went about their business. My babies are growing up!!

Look on Craigslist that is where I got mine. Next year I plan on Raising some I bought 30 so far 15 have been called to the freezer or grill. the other 15 this wekend.

Next Year I will build another coop and get all the stuff together to raise them. I am thinking 25 at a time 2-3 weeks apart but that might be a bit much
