Does anyone have any spare new chicks?
None of the eggs under my broody hatched today and I hate to disappoint her. Maybe it will happen tomorrow, but...

Today I am wondering if anyone knows where I could find any delawares or icelandics in Ct.? We just adopted a single icelandic and I would rather have some other newbies to take some stress off her from the initial integration. We also have far too few hens for the # of roos we have (10 roos and 25 hens) so the more hens we can get the better. I will be in touch with an icelandic breeder soon but am looking for birds a bit older than one day for my current situation. As for now the birds all free range over a number of acres so there is plenty of room to disperse and the health of the new bird is not at risk, I would just like to make it as easy of a transition as possible.
