Adorable... lucky you. I moved my little ones out yesterday but still to young to mingle... I have a small staging pen for when they transition... my half orp was eyeing them all day... I so wanted to see if she would take over and mother them but around here free ranging can be a dangerous business so in the pen they stayed.They only "free range" when I'm out there with 'em. I let the little ones into a grassy area outside my boyfriend's garden fence, and the "big girls" around the corner anywhere else. Otherwise, the peeps have a smaller box as a run, outside of the the older ones run, so they can safely interact through the hardware cloth/chicken wire. At night, I let the peeps into a (former) dog crate in the coop, so the big girls don't bother them.
