Pallet chicken coop ideas??

I wasn't able to work on the coop for almost a week. Finally was able to get out today. I got most of the siding on the short side and the door up. Still have a ways to go before it's done. But gotta get moving. Babies are getting older and will need to be outside soon enough.

That looks great! I had to build my last one by myself as well because my hubby didn't want to be involved.  It looked like Mr. Magoo built it, but it safely housed my girls for a couple of years.  When we moved, we just bought a big old shed.  I had to put a new on that, but I just watched you tube videos for instructions.  It turned out great.  Best of luck, and please keep us posted on the progress!

Thank you.

Thank you.

With the high prices of lumber/wood, I refuse to spend one red cent on new lumber.

Taking pallets apart takes a little time and elbow grease but you can save thousands of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I don't have any money to donate to the the local "home improvement" stores (Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.) and make them any richer.

You have done an awesome job, thanks for the pics.

Nice! Can anybody tell how to calculate how many chickens can be added to a coop?

There are places all over the forum that will tell you that, but I don't remember where. It also depends how much free range area you have. Also, if you have a large run.
