**** C S R A Group ****

WOW! There are quite a lot of us! Never realized this! Nice! I would love to do a local swap. If for no other reason than it would be fun to meet everyone!

We hatched our first ever eggs this spring and 4 of them hatched.... 3 of the 4 are roosters!!!!!! ugh! So if you know anyone looking for roos! I have 3 maybe 4 to rehome. They are bantams and not showing aggression towards people. They are however all crowing now and picking at each other so they need to go! I am in town and cannot have 4 roosters!!!!!!! My neighbors will not like me much! lol! (I cannot kill them and my children would hate me forever if I did! lol!)

almost forgot!!! We are in Martinez!

They are all beautiful Applechicks. Sorry I can't take them. I have 3 Rooster's now. I hope you find a home for them all.

Thanks!

So I've posted this on the board before and got no response but maybe some of you will be able to help. Do you know if the local 4-H does showing of chickens/rabbits? I have a daughter that just entered 5th grade which is the grade you can start here and she would like to get into showing them but we need some info on it and have no clue where to look. Does anyone else in the area do this?

I would love to start showing. The thing that sucks is that there no real local poultry shows. At least as far as I know, I've done a lot of research and only found a bantam show that happens in Spring down in Swainsboro, I think thats right...

I think it would be wise for you to get a Standard of Perfection (SOP) book or find one that you can reference online to see what your birds will be judged by at the shows. That's all I got for now...

Ditto on the showing, I tried to get in touch with the guy that did the swainsboro show but he never returned my email
