Hey everyone, new here and hoping someone can help me. I am new to Edgefield, SC and would like to get some chickens. Can anyone from this area tell me if it is legal to have them Inside Town Limits? I cannot find zoning ordinances anywhere, and the town hall has been of no help. If anyone can help point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone. I'm moving to Augusta soon and would like to know if there are any laws/ordinances preventing me from owning chickens. I can't seem find anything recent online. Thank you for your time!
 
Hello all,

I hatched some chicks this past spring. Just days before they hatched I was injured, and couldn't walk for 3 months -- setting me back significantly on finding homes for what turned out to be 4 roosters. They are now 3 months old, and need to go ASAP. Does anyone know of anyone in these parts that might want them as pets or... at this point, I'd be okay with them going to a soup pot, if that's how it needed to be -- they've had a good little piece of life.
