Mine have devoured my hostas!  That is why I am surfing this forum for answers to what to plant!  I can handle the scratching about, I wanted to put things they would leave alone in the backyard where they tend to roam.  Guess we will have to rethink it!

Mine eat anything that isn't prickly. If you have enough chickens, there is bound to be a few that like nearly everything. Junipers, cedars, false cypress....are all totally inedible to them. We have lots of native sedum and they eat that....its edible for people too.
