Brabanters? Sex?

I was told these were both pullets, but one has a much larger crest than the other. What are you thoughts? He said they were about 5 weeks old, but they were from a May hatch, so that would make them at least 8 weeks I am thinking. He got them from Ideal. We are only keeping one, so no big deal if one is a roo, but just curious.

Chick 4 (Fifi, I think)

I asked in the Breed section and the experts in there say they are both pullets! Woohoo, now I have to decide which to get rid of, or make a bigger coop!

So...What did they turn out to be? I raise the cream/creme color Brabanters. Egg-cellent poultry!

Being raised with pets all my life I have a vast knowledge in all sorts of feathered and furry creatures and a love for which. My infatuation with Silkies began as a child when I acquired my first Silkie and at 36 years of age they still capture my attention and bring a smile to my face. In addition to Silkies I also have cream/creme Brabanters, Seramas, Showgirl Silkies, Guinea fowl and...
