If the hen is a guinea/chicken hybrid, then it will be sterile, I don't know if it will still lay eggs though.

Do you have any updates? Have you bred them or were they sterile guinea hybrids?

Sadly I lost the small female to drowning and lost the rooster in the house fire on April 1st. He did not make it out of the garage even though he was loose.

This may be a really late reply, but breeding these birds that I have, usually 2-4 of the batch come out like the chick you have in the bottom.. I'm not even sure what my own chickens are but looking through the internet, it may be Ayam Cemani with the Menolosis genetic trait (causing black bones, meat, skin color, etc) but for now Im just giving them the name "Hmong" chickens. or Qaib Hmong.

See, here is some of my qaib "Hmong" or Hmong chickens. these are all of this hens offsprings except one of the brown striped ones, one of them belongs to a half asil half hmong hen and a main asil rooster. but they all come out similar to yours.

Are they naked on their heads?

They look scary

I didn't realize they could interbreed...so can chickens and peafowl be mixed? Or are guineas some weird in between species that can mix with anything remotely similar? Hmmm...I had no idea...
