Mom and Dad of 3 boys 14,11,9; live in city in-town by public library and school; Silkie rooster, Silkie hen, EE hen, RoseComb Bantam and 8 of their mixed breed offspring!  And a bunny!

Wow!  Amazing!!  I showed this to my girls and I think we're going to try our hand at it come spring when the weather breaks.  Thanks for sharing!  Fun stuff!!

Are dixie & jasmine buff orpingtons? I have a buff orp to!

Mama to 98 chickens And I have 2 broody hens. One is setting on 2 eggs, the other is setting on 5.  I lost my favorite chicken Nov. 25th 2012 to my cat Demi. She was a mix breed bantam. I also lost five White Silkies to a raccoon. two cats (Demi and Lulu), one Angus bull calf, (T-Bone), sister to seven siblings, and incredible daughter to one Grateful Daddy and Mommy.

Yes, they are Buff Orpingtons.  They are the sweetest breed EVER!!

Great pictures!

I have one hen, Henwyn, a black Austrolorpe, who stops whatever she is doing and comes RUNNING when I call "henwyn ! What's this?" Food motivated of course.

And my EE roo flies onto my arm for a can of sweet corn.

One EE hen is trained to fly onto a perch for "petsies" no food motivation.

And a Dutch Bantam who flies to me to get into my coat. I think she gets cold.

And they ALL jump up for food! Absolutely hysterical that their little legs flail! A bit scary when there's 20 of them biting my fingers!

I have 4 chickens, and whenever i come outside, i always see them coming to me, with my pullet amy in the lead!yippiechickie.gif And the others are after her! the last one is honey! My chickens breeds are, one Austrolorpe, (tilda), one Buff orpington, (honey), one Barred plymouth rock, (amy), and one Chantecler,lily! celebrate.gifAnd i am going to get 4 or 5 more! And thier breeds are going to be, sussex & rode iland reds! wee.gif              My chickens love sun flower seeds! I have been feeding them sun flower seeds and they love em!

Scout-My girls will be a year in April.  They have been such a joy and we plan to get 2 more this spring!  We're very excited.
