Goose kiddie pool repair?

I started to fill a new plastic kiddie pool bought a couple of months ago, and saw it leaking water from an inch and a half cut/slice about two inches from the bottom. Any idea on whether this can be repaired at all, and in such a way that the geese will leave it alone? Since they are seasonal items, I may not be able to replace the darn thing!

Thanks, Denninmi. Can the patch and Seals All be found at Home Depot or do I need to look for a bicycle shop?

I always bought what I could at the end of the summer because they take up a lot of storage space or if returned to a central warehouse like Walmart does a lot of truck space. I don'to know if a cool whip bowl will work. I'm sure your pool is flexible so that would be a problem. I think the bike patch idea is a really good one. You may want to ask someone in plumbing what might work or even call a pool place to see if they have patches for there above ground pools. Maybe a neighbor has one and a repair kit comes with the pool. Geese nibble so you want it to stick very well. I know this because my geese pull the plugs on my pools all the time. I even put big rocks over the plug which is helping. Good luck and I know how tough it is to find these pools.
