What do you think?

These are two of my 12 wk RIR's. I'm pretty sure the first is a roo and the second is a hen. What do you think?

Photographing chickens is really difficult. What do you see in this picture as far as gender goes?

At only 12 weeks old with such big combs and wattles...  I think they're all roosters.  Sorry. sad

I was going to say the same thing. What are the odds of having all boys?

I'm not convinced they're all Roos. More pictures are needed. Need to see the legs and the natural standing posture of the bird. Even leghorn hens have large wattles and comb.

It's not looking too promising, but I think I would like to see some full body shots first before saying roos for sure.

I see four hens and one rooster.

Nah, can't all be roosters.  lol  Don't jinx the poor guy like that!!

2nd one looks pullet to me.  1st one looks Roo.  3rd pic is too far away.  The bird in the middle, against the back fence might be a pullet and I don't see any saddle feathers on the one with her/his back to the camera.  Anyway, you should be hearing crows any day out of the boys since they are already 3 months old.

You have Big Beautiful Healthy looking birds!!!
