Maybe it's just me but I don't get how taking away the female hormones gives them male characteristics? X minus X doesn't equal Y. Are they injecting male hormones to make them rooster-ish? Sorry, but they just look like plain old roosters to me.

I hate to tell you, but hens do not have male saddle and hackle feathers.. you might be able to pass off the larger comb and wattles, but not the 2ndary sex charactoristics of a male chicken..
