Just keep in mind....no matter how much alcohol you imbibe....a roo is a roo and a hen is a hen. Day old, or 3-4 weeks down the line.
At some point you will be beer sexing, or looking up their skirts.  I don't judge people. Do what's best for you!

I looked at the sticky, looked at the birds, repeated.  The sticky makes it looks so easy, but I couldn't tell a thing. 

I was more curious than anything.  Sort of like turning to the end of a book to see whodunit.  I knew I'd get there eventually (with beer-sexing) but I just wanted to see if I could figure out sooner.   

I have to say, I didn't get pooped on, so maybe that was part of my problem as well!  wink

My guesses based on their behavior and vocalization was more accurate.  The really vocal ones from the start turned out to be boys.  Again, I have a small sample size (only 6 birds) and with their colors, I can easily tell everyone apart.  I can't imagine how it would work with a pen of 100 birds.
