Recipes for homemade duck food

Thank you for your reply. Our privacy fence is over 6 ft. I wouldn't be able to afford to re-fence the 3 acres...will clip the wings!!! GREAT idea! The mom's right wing is drooping. She was unable to fly, so was easy to get her. The 3 are all fully grown (not babies). I saw the mom mating and it seemed a bit rough so maybe it was damaged during that. Also, every so often 2 of the males will get into it but I run fast and break it up-will they kill each other? I wish I knew more about Muscovy's. The 2 males most of the time hang-out together but when they fight it terrifies me that the bigger will kill the smaller especially when he pins him down.
LOL well that proves where there a will. Yes clip their wings I have a good diagram because if you don't clip enough they will still fly. Lil stinkers.

Duck mating is rough it's just the way it is. If you can give them a kiddy pool that does help some for the females.

As for the drakes yes they can kill each other but hopefully it won't come to that . I usually watch till one is penned down and usually that is the end but if it keeps going on and on and one is injured they need to be separated. Usually there will be one dominant drake and the rest just follow along but sometimes a drake will not be happy unless he Keeps challenging the main one. Muscovy's are fighters. I have an Embden gander who is much large than my drake and my Muscovy drake is dominant over him. As long as my gander leaves him alone everything is fine.

Come to the thread about Muscovy's and share there your worries and plans and joy in having them we all love out scovy's .
