Skydiving

Who has been? Who has thought about it? Any regular jumpers here?

I went skydiving back in 1999.  It was an amazing experience!  I can't ever do it again, I broke my neck 3 years ago and I still have 2 herniated discs in my neck.

If you have the opportunity to do it, go for it!

Actually I have been. And do love it! It's a shame you can't go again....I look forward to it every weekend. I have been jumping for five years. But have only found a few people that enjoy jumping out of planes and a little country life! So where did you jump?

I gave my husband a parachute jump for his 60th birthday.  He always said it was something he'd like to try and I figured it wasn't a good idea for him to wait until he was 70!  gig

He liked it but said once was enough for him!

I made six jumps in the mid 90s.  An experience I will never forget, but I just haven't gotten back into it.  It was a money thing at the time, now it is a time thing.  big_smile

Tomorrow I will hit jump number 350! Not a huge amount by any means but I can not believe the ride it has been!

I would love to go skydiving, just once, to try it out and see if I'd like it. There was a place that offered it over the NSW coast when I was on holiday there, but the weather was bad and my parents were getting all freaky about how much it costs. One day, one day. lol

I was able to get 4 jumps this weekend! So I am at 352. You should go Ray's Two Cents. I just received my coaches rating in April and am having a blast teaching students.
