Due to a little thing called chicken math, we now have 9 hens, about a year ago, we only started out with two! I showed my mom a few pictures of Derp and she said, " She looks gross." . How can you call this lovely chicken gross?!!!!! I think Derp is fine just the way she is.

i've never met a chicken that i don't consider beautiful, and derp has her own charm- i will post a drawing i am working on of her, but i won't be part of the contest, as i am a pet portrait artist, don't think it'd be fair...:) but what is really funny is chickens are now my most favorite to draw and paint...:)

I think pencil sketches would be fine. There doesn't really have to b a winner, we could just entertain ourselves at Derp's expense. I think we have as long as we want. How about a week?
