We are getting by. The heat just makes doing stuff outside hard. Fortunately here it cools off on most nights so we open the house and use some fans to keep cool. We're also fortunate enough to be able to spend most of the day in the cool basement... not the same as AC, but it sure is nicer than the 85-95° of the upstairs! We are a low-power household and aim to use less electricity each year... though I appreciate the feedback greatly, any spare pennies I get go into my solar power savings account. :)
untill you get enough pennies for solar consider a chicken whell so you can run the household on chicen power.
