Thought this was a cool cross! Pretty Young laying hen

I was wondering about a blue Copper and blue Orp cross, too. I wonder also if the dimorphic genes get passed on. Really a fun project to think about! Does she have a good lay rate, your hen? Hum... Too many things I wanna try!
 
summerrain9732, Do you have any updated pics of your red headed slatey chicks? I have the same cross/variety in the brooder right now. Just wandering how they'll feather out. They are stunning as chicks tho! Some are hatching out solid yellow and yellow with a black dot on their head so Im hoping for some shaded reds too! Excited!

I can get some pictures, they pretty much turned out looking like a black sexlink hen color
