Well we are finally almost finished with our coop... just in time for a North Dakota winter!  Could not have done it without the help from this website, and the wonderful Witchita Cabin design, for which ours is heavily based.

Thar she is. Our free chicken coop. Or at least we got darn close.

We split this chronicle into a few separate pages cause it was getting to be a long one.

Shout out to all who posted before us, because we are standing on your shoulders. All these details now seem straightforward, but I am sure we got the ideas for wire/mesh flooring, the hinged roofs and access throughout, the sloping, large overhang roof - all that from looking at your designs and previous discussions.
