Denny you are always welcome at our home!

I've been trying to put together a party/education thing at the ranch or my home in lafayette on the bay area thread, We could do it at the ranch for $200 for 4 hours or my backyard for free (we had a chickenstock a couple years ago here....

We can do a chicken swap at either place.

We could do a summer event  or whenever would work for Walt's schedule.  I'd also wonder if anyone would like to hear about permaculture?

I would love to learn about permaculture!  I am not at all picky about where we meet and would be willing to chip in for any fees.  smile.png

Karen,

I found another ad on Craigslist for Dominiques.  The person is in Sebastopol and has 2 female chicks.  They hatch their own eggs and all are from dedicated breeders.  Here is a link:

Welcome to the thread and welcome-byc.gif       I'll add you to the first post. We love new members here.

Brought home my Silkied Ameraucana chick from Karen's today!!!!  frow.gif Thanks Karen!  He's is the kitchen with 2 Orp chicks for company. I have a feeling this is a little roo. Looks like it to me so far. You all know I'm the Queen of the roo keepers, but in this case I sure hope so. Would be a lot of work to make more with just one girl, so I'm actually keeping my fingers crossed. I also brought home a Davis roo!!  celebrate.gif So happy to be able to have the chance to hatch out another pure Davis flock. Wonder how poor Harley is gonna feel when he only has 2 hens. Oh well he'll get over it. hehe.

Added a couple of shows to the first post, but didn't add this one. There's a rabbit show in Turlock at the fairgrounds this Saturday. Hope to see some of you there. I had thought this show was next month, but Karen let me know today when it was.
