That pic was one of very few where she wasn't holding one of us as a baby or one of her grandkids or great grandkids. Plus I don't take pics, so there aren't any of the 2 of us probably after this one. And no there wasn't any coffee of cigarettes in her hands in the ones in with the babies. LOL
Dropping birds off at the auction soon. Just stuck my roo in a feed bag that's now moving across the floor and I'm going out to grab a few chicks. I know I won't make enough to buy feed, but it will be fewer mouths to have to buy fee for. My lav egg project has a lots of cockerels. I hate to have to get rid of any before I can breed them back and figure out who is going to be helping to keep that gene going, so gotta do what ya gotta do.
Another long day today, but yesterday my SIL came and weed wacked my drive that went crazy with the last rain and then we used his truck so I could get more supplies for my hoop coops. I have a 150ft roll of stucco wire out there now and I hope I can get at least another anel done today and tomorrow. Haven't made one since the day I broke me wrist, so way behind, but by the end of next month i should have smallish separate ones. I especially want to get my Lav AMs moved, so I can repair the pen they're in. It was used for my Games before Bill died and I wanted things different in it, so maybe I can actually get that done and move my Games into it. I have my Pheonix trio in a BIG dog crate, the wire type. They have room, but not enough and I want the roosters tail to have lots of room, same with my Sumatras. I think my Sumatra roo has an even longer tail.
I ended up with 11 chicks my last hatch and finally a Lav AM has hatched. Keeping my fingers crossed for a few more pullets and a cockerel or two to add towatch I have. Now if I could get all these Marans eggs to do something for me. Last year was not a good year for them and I need more.
OK time to pick out who else goes here. Not getting rid of many, but a few.
