Looks like a lot of birds can take tolerate kids and wheeled vehicles. Makayla can get quit a few to ride around in a bumpy yard in her wagon.

Kim, I have WCB LF polish.  They haven't yet started laying, but are around 6 months old.

Deb

The difference between breakfast and chicks, is the temperature you use to "cook" the eggs!

What breeds do I have?  More than any sane person would own.

Gotta say Thank You to Karen (Sewngrow)  for a great time today. It was great to see everyone and meet new people.

I'm going to be setting the quail eggs I won in the raffle and I've had to tell Makayla she can use the pedi set she won, after school tomorrow. Didn't get her home till her bedtime. Oops

So glad I was able to make it. I had a really good time. Now I'm going to soak in a warm tub and try to rub some Arnica into my back.

And you guys need to share the information for the black soldier flies here. We all wanted ot hear more yesterday, but written info would be so helpful to many on here. Give us some details of how this works.

I just came back to finish this because I ran to see if I had more beetle yet. How bad is that? LOL

If you all remember, my Sumatra roo has been missing for a months now. Well I got a little carried away today and I now have 1 Splash and at least one each of blue and black. Not sure about the youngest ones yet, but I'm thinking they are all cockerels. I also added a pretty blue pullet. So excited I will be able to have BBS Sumatras now. Once I have them grown out a bit I'll know who I keep and who I sell, but Sumatras have been one of my top favorite breeds for a long time, so I'm happy.

Kim, it was great finally meeting you, it was such a nice party - Karen outdid herself. I have a bunch of Splash Sumatras in various ages and stages. If you ever need more, just let me know. I love to come up to visit Karen every chance I get so I could bring birds along for the ride too smile.png
