Hi everyone!
I think I'm the third "Kim" in this thread. I guess I'll go by "Kim from Tustin."
I just posted this on the Southern CA Meetup thread, but I just lost three out of my flock this afternoon. I am utterly HEARTBROKEN, especially for the three who are left, because all they've done since is huddle in the corner together. I thought I'd lost four until one came out from under a bush when I called for her.
So I guess my question is - if anyone is in Southern CA and have some pullets I can buy / take off your hands, please let me know. I'd be happy to drive to you to pick them up. I just want company for my three remaining girls. I have 6 more in the brooder, but they won't be ready to go outside for another 5 weeks or so (I just got them last week).

Oh no! I know how that feels! It is just heart wrenching! I hope you find more babies to replace them (not that we can ever truly replace the lost ones we loved)!
I'm really sorry about your birds.
He's a total love!
Sorry Kim.
I'm in the same boat (minus the grandchild). Been moving (yes still) all day and now I'm too tired to get up and pee. Guess it's cereal for dinner.
