Silkies, How do I sex them?

Please tell me if there is a way to sex silkies? I really would like to know if there are any ways to tell.

I've been told it's very tough. Sometimes they are several months old before you can tell.

Me, DH, 2 spoiled Shih Tzu's, one Silky Terrier, one big ole Newfoundland, 9 barred rocks, 1 NH roo, 4 sizzles, 2 Cochin's, 2 frizzles, 6 little Silkies, 3 just hatched SLW, and assorted cattle and horses, on 150 AC. RECENTLY RETIRED AND LOVING IT

That is what I have heard also. I was just hopeing that if there was a way someone would tell me. I have some chicks, and a friend of mine just bought two silkies at an auction but has no idea what they are M/F?
