I've never raised Oriental Gamefowl but am tempted by some of the breeds from Ideal hatchery. Particularly Thai or Saipan Jungle Fowl. Has anyone bought these breeds from Ideal? I've read that the Saipan Jungle Fowl are more crossbred looking than those from Cackle Hatchery, but since the Ideal ones are cheaper that's what I have to get. (I may try to get better-quality hatching eggs in future years to improve the flock.)

Insel Lyr Farm, Daggett, Menominee county, upper Michigan, USA: Ancona and Aylesbury ducks, guineas, chickens and Imelda the Chocolate turkey. Also sheep and a goat.
