Silkie roo's first mount...Backwards!

He's been creepin' for days but finally got the opportunity to mount.  He must've really enjoyed the backwards mount...he stayed there and "practiced" for at least 2 minutes.  I can't stop laughing.  Like a really bad porn movie.  lau

I can't believe your hen put up with him on her back for that long...backward or forward!! hmmtongue

Caretaker of a lovely mixed flock including: australorp, plymouth rocks, wyandotte, d'uccles, silkies, EEs, andalusian, and a few seramas, plus a golden retriever, great dane, and three cats.  I always swore that I wouldn't succumb to chicken math.  I lied.

Silkie roos in general are just so darm funny! But BACKWARDS? Now I've heard everything! gig

yuckyuck  i had a young roo that did that to the girls every now and then. had to rehome him bc the neighbors complained. but it was funny to watch. lol

10 chickens  owns 1 buff orpington, 2 EE, 1 australorp, 1 dominique, 1 golden lakenvelder, 4 RIR, leghorn, brahma mixes.

My late great brahma rooster was like that, so it's not just silkie roos that are clueless.  We used to sit outside and holler advice to him... No Thor!  The other end!  He was bad about mounting them from the side.  roll

If there ever comes a day when we can't be together keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever - Winnie the Pooh
I'll never develop a thick skin.  Thick skin leads to a hard heart and I never want to be one of those people. 

A slave to LF brahmas, seramas, runner ducks, call ducks, two geese that are my feathered children, and a crossbeak silkie X named Dragon.
