Herfrds, I go for my first weigh=in today! I will post my number when I get home. I think maybe 3-4 lbs below my original weight on 12/10, but I also gained a couple of pounds the week before Christmas that had to come off first. I started on Wednesday, 12/28 and it was pretty hard the first day. Of course, it didn't help that I had goodies everywhere. Each day got easier and Saturday I felt back to normal. Sunday better than normal, and Monday SPECTACULAR! Just can't get over how much energy I have! The IP food is good but there are some that I definitely will not get again...crispy cereal (ACK!!), mushroom soup, and the pudding is, well, pasty. I have read that you can use more water and make it a drink which sounds much better to me. The caramel bar was delicious and so was the chicken soup. Today I had 2 c of mixed veggies (zucchini, green pepper, and spinach) mixed into the vegetable chili. SOOOO GOOD!!!
Thanks for all the tips, especially about the salad dressing. IMHO, the only thing that makes salad appealing is the dressing, croutons, nuts, cheese, etc. I'm struggling with that part. Today when I go I will pick up one or two of the WF salad dressings. Have you tried their mayo? I am dying for some tuna salad. Also, my shoes are loose too! Weird...as much as I have to loose all over I notice it first in my face and feet. hahaha
Wish me luck!
Week one weight loss was 4.2 lbs below the weight on 12/10 but 7 or so from 12/28. I continue to be amazed at how great I am feeling. Not hungry, not craving, and having no problem staying on the plan. Tonight I went out to dinner with my son and had no problem ordering from a diner menu. I got a big salad with grilled chicken and grilled squash and peppers on top. I could only eat about half of it. Also, just used oil and vinegar on it. I dunno... I'm thinking this is a pretty amazing diet!
