I use jars of water to mitigate the effect. My LG seems to be having wider fluctuations than last year. 103 scared me, 104 terrifies me.

So, lost 8 turkeys and 2 pheasants to shrink wrap yesterday.  I'm currently assisting a shrinked giant toulouse.  got more toulouse and sebs due to internally pip today, and actively working.    Hope they get here ok.

I've got show quality blue belgium d'anver bantems eggs from soggy bottems bantems coming probobly today.

I've got super dark bred Black Copper Morans eggs coming today.

I've got more Giant toulouse eggs comping today.

I have Buff Dewlap show stocks coming Thursday.

Lets hope they all get here safe and ready to make babies! fl.gif

Why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

Why is there brail at drive up ATMs??

Why are their floatation devices instead of parachutes in my airplain seat???

If a tree falls in the woods and my husband doesn't hear it, am I still wrong????

I think 90% of the 160+ eggs hatched th.gif Today I will finish tagging them.  I don't think I want to count them.  I may count the unhatched eggs just to get an idea.  I hope they all sell at the trade day next Saturday. fl.gif I need to sell as many as I can for feed and I am going out of town and don't want to have a ton of chicks for my son to take care of while I am gone.

Welcome to the Zoo!  2 Morgans, 2 Minis, 1 Standard Poodle, 3 cats, 3 pet birds and the chickens.

Dorkings and bantam Cochins mostly, with a few others here and there.

And of course, my wonderful Hubby, who puts up with me and keeps me in check when I start to get crazy.

160 Eggs? That is alot of eggs did they all come from your flock or did you buy some of them?  I am doing good to get 24 eggs to get into my bator out of all the hens I have.  I am working on stocking up on my hens to get more eggs and a better flock.

I have buffs, and lavenders that are pure breeds, EE's and White EE's, Australorps, and about 3 roosters that I have no idea what the breeds are so they are in my mixed pen.  I also have silkies and as soon as my hubby gets home and I can Rangle him to stay home for a bit I am going to start working on a bigger pen for them so they can come out of the Barn pen, and have a nice home to actually lay their eggs in and not on the floor.

Then my ever fast growing baby EE's can go in there.

Good luck on the rest of you eggs hatching.

I am Deana and Live in Texas.

I am owned by horses, chickens, pig, donkey, geese and her mate, peacocks, turkey and his hen, and goats.

I love talking to other who have a love for farm life and raising chickens and the little peeps. I also quilt, and enjoy doing all sorts of crafts

Chickens are like Potato Chips... You cannot have just one.

Wow, good work!  Thats a lot of eggs.  If I also use my hatching bator too, I think I can do like 146 max (chicken eggs).  Of course, I can exceed that with quail, but who wants to be up to their eyeballs in little speckled eggs 7 weeks after they hatch?

What did you hatch?  Maybe I need to go to the show.....  Seriously, I hope you do sell a lot of your precious babies.
