Not sure, but on the turkey hatchathon we get straight jackets in choice of size AND color!

gig.gifI'm almost  at the pont of making another incubator. My cooler bator works so well that I'm willing to put together another one. I have about two weeks to do it as 60 plus eggs are not likely to fit in the LG at lockdown. But maybe I should test it first! clap.gif

I need to figure out where I want to set my incubator up. The laundry room would be perfect since it would be out of the way, but with the dryer running nonstop (we cloth diaper) I'd be afraid of tempature fluctuations. Although, it *is* getting warmer out and I could always string up a clothes line... Hmm.

The girl on Craigslist isn't helping either... She said she'd hook me up with however many eggs I need to fill my incubator... She's got "blue splash marans, americana, white leg horns, dark cornish, Java, Speckled Sussex, Phoenix, Japanese bantams, black stars, new Hampshire, cinnamon queen, and more"

If drier is running nonstop doesn't that make the environment stable??  Though hanging laundry out will save you a whopper of an electric bill, and not using the dryer makes for a stable environment too. Either way . . .

I've been know to start the wood stove just to take the edge off the cool nights and days as needed to keep the LG stable. jumpy.gif

Not really non stop ( I think it just feels that way, haha) but I think of I put it at the far side of the room and leave the door open it will be ok. It's really the best place, location wise, just because it's the central point of the downstairs. 41 eggs... I think I'm goin to need a bigger coop.
