I didnt know the breed and so I did a seach on bing for it and that was one of the pictures that popped up I thought it was pretty but I wasnt shure if it was the actual birds I have lookd for things say button quail and seen pics of jumbo browns or AM or some such so I always confirm a picture is really of what it says it is .

I tell ya,with this hatch they really popped out quick. It went from 4 hatched this morning at 7 to 62 hatched at 4:30 this afternoon. I have this bator dialed in now and the hatches have been going great!

I wish I had a longer driveway. At least we are far enough off the road so that the chickens don't wander onto it.

x2 gig.gif A drive longer than mine, way longer. hide.gif  oops maybe the drive doesn't start at the blue line for a stream, but is only the section at the A in a bubble. Mine is the same then. Still a lot to snow blow in the winter!

it's a tad over 1/2 mile long...  and googlemaps put the drive in where the original drive was, but it was upgraded (too steep and washed out badly) so you can see where the actual drive is just above where the blue line is marked (near the bubble).  there's about 300' elevation change from the creek to the house. and no, it doesn't start at the creek. we have to cross 3 other properties to get to ours. (pain in the butt)  the A bubble is where google says our house should be. LOL  only if i wanted it to wash off the side of a mountain made up of mostly granite. LOL

Karen - k.i.forgot (it's a ham thing...)
Welcome to the Zoo!  2 Morgans, 2 Minis, 1 Standard Poodle, 3 cats, 3 pet birds and the chickens.

Dorkings and bantam Cochins mostly, with a few others here and there.

And of course, my wonderful Hubby, who puts up with me and keeps me in check when I start to get crazy.

Just one that wasn't quite done yesterday. I candled the non hatchers last night and all but one had no movement. One was moving but couldn't pip. I pipped it and it hatched an hour later and is doing great. The others I eggtopsied and it looks like they had died before or just after lockdown.
