Once I finally got it going this afternoon it seemed to stay on.  I just got home and turned it off but it was still on the server, so hopefully it'll behave from now on.  smile

They aren't exactly the brightest stars in the sky  LOL ... they HAVE a perch over on the left side of the screen!  They hardly ever use it though.  I had to go out yesterday and get a piece of plywood and had to have it cut down a bit ... it left me with some extra pieces which I think I will cut down to fit in there and make the divider more stable.  Since they seem to like perching on THAT above anything else.  smile  Silly girls!  Now if only the 2 new girls would pitch in and start laying, I'd be all set.

Girls got a bigger run!  smile

Today I expanded the girls run another few feet.  I had to play with the cam a bit to show most of it ... lost a little bit of the scratch-box area but you can still see all the way down the run to the laying box.  They seem pretty happy about it.

Well, I decided to extend their scratching area  smile  Now they can root around in a bigger area.  Now the end where the divider is is more stable so we'll see how they do with it.

Also, I need to figure out a way to fit something over the divider edge, more like a roost would be, so they can sit there.  They try to sit there throughout the day and wobble.  It's gotta hurt their feet to sit on something so thin ... I'm trying to figure out something.  I'm thinking maybe like a couple paper towel rolls, split down one side so they fit over the cardboard ... but I need to figure out a way to keep them more solid.   ???  Any IDEAS  ???

I find it so funny sometimes, watching the girls on the cam.  LOL  Tehy tend to like to "investigate" when each sits in the laying box.  smile  "Whatcha dooooooin'?"   LOL  They are such a bright spot in my day  smile

To anyone with a working chicken web cam.
1.. What kind of cam are you using for successful wireless from your coop?
2. How far is it from your coop?
3. What type of computer and software are you using to operate it?

So far I have tried 2 different cams, different software on my macs and can't get a chicken cam up and running. Can anyone help me?
