I Guess its there NEW PERCH!!

I cut part of a tree branch down yesterday. We strip the leave for compost and the tree branch and all the little branches. I dragged everything out last night but this one and in the morning the branch happened to be occupied. tongue   What do you guys think? Should I leave it or get it out? They seem to like it.

If it isn't hurting anything or in the way, I'd let them keep it. They certainly seem to enjoy it.

I moved it there to be out of the way and was going to cu it up and trash it. I have the room and just might keep it. It's like a jungle gym for them and they were jumping from branch to branc and just chiiling under the tree on it.

Leave it for them if you can, or find a place to install it for good.
A chicken cannot have too many roostng spots, can she? wink
It's called "environmental enrichment" and is very healthy.

Mine LOVE branches to perch on. I put branches in the run and will hang veggies off some of the higher branches; wedge grapes in here and there - very fun stuff!

3 pit bulls, 1 chihuahua, 4 alpacas, and way, way too many chickens...
