Have you seen pellet game feed?

Can the catfish feed be fermented in with my layer? I bought a bag of the Purina today THEN decided to check to see if it was ok to feed to chickens and ducks. Lol. Glad I found this thread! my birds haven't laid since mid June this year. I wormed them 2 days ago. The whole flock with Ivomec. Now I'm gonna try this. Just wondering at anyone's experience with it being fermented.

I haven't fed it straight fermented but have mixed it with grains and fermented. If you are unsure try taking some of the liquid from your fermented feed add extra water if needed and try fermenting a couple of pounds of it.

Well they absolutely love it fermented! The ducks usually aren't very enthusiastic about fermented feed. They eat it cause they have no other choice. Lol. But I added a coffee can of the Catfish feed to the 3 cans of layer and game bird mix that I've been feeding and let it get soggy with it. Man! Everything went after it like candy! Instead of mixing it in with the other feeds and adding the water and having everything premixed already, since the Catfish feed floats I had to wait awhile for it to get soggy before I could mix it all together. Lol. Hopefully this will get my girls to finally start laying!
