Set today, Sept 28th. Anyone else?

Our first hatch went so well I cleaned out the bator and set a bunch more. Set 30 total....18 Turken I bought from someone here, and 12 from my own hens, including 2 BR, a couple SLW and some EE. Plus, for sentimental reasons, we also set the last egg laid by our brown leghorn who was attacked and killed by a neighbors dog.

So who's in?

2 years ago, a flat-lander, in FL, hiding in the house due to 8 months of heat and humidity every year. Now, living in the Smoky Mountains, gardening, keeping chickens, and loving life. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks. I used to list here the breeds of chickens I owned. There is not enough room to do that anymore. I have lots of chickens....

I love my sportsman too. I use it to incubate in. I do staggered hatches. I put in a tray at a time in the incubator. I use my stryofoam tabletop incubators as hatchers. So I have several different dates in my incubator.
