silkie sexing

Pics
I've avoided doing this because I am hoping for a pullet (neighbors probably won't tolerate a roo) & I love my little baby so much! This chicken is truly an enigma. She has what look like streamers but no comb (very smooth) or waddles. I do pet and kiss her head a lot so it is possible I'm pushing the poofball backwards but that's probably just wishful thinking. She began growing feathers around her comb but she still has a perfect 'afro + mohawk' mixture that has me very confused. There are tiny bumps on the back legs above her feet which I've heard are spurs (but I don't know with silkies),

Here are some clear shots. She / he is about 4.5 months old.

Please guess for me!

I am no expert by any stretch but have had my share of silkie Roos this year..... By 4.5 months they had much bigger combs so I'm guessing hen!! Hope I'm right :)

I think you have a hen. My silkie girl looked very similar at this age. I also thought mine had streamers, but I think the variation in color for the buffs can fake us out. Has anyone else had that experience with buffs? Now my girl is laying cute little eggs.

pullet

I posted these pics on the regular silkie thread before I knew there was a silkie sexing thread. Can anyone tell me, roo or pullet? They are both 22 weeks old. No egg no crow.

Thanks
