THE Brinsea Octagon 20 Eco Thread; Hatches, etc. (PICS)

so rule of thumb is one tray full during incubation, then both full during the last three days????

They discontinued them because they brought a new range out, the ovation etc.

Some of the distributors may still have the octagons in stock. I know some still do over here in the UK.

Here are the distributors in the US ~ http://www.brinsea.com/t-Distributors.aspx

I see. Thanks for the info. Do you know anything about the ovation? I saw it on the website, just wondering if anyone had used them yet.

I wanted to let everyone know my experience with the 20 eco and something that I recently figured out about mine. I posted in this thread about a year ago asking for help with low hatch rates and got some great tips and help from everyone and I was able to get a better hatch rate with you guys help. Thanks again!!
I recently fired up my Eco for the first time since then and ran it for a few days before setting some heritage RIR eggs. The temp held fine but the humidity, not so much. After looking at it closely, I found that the lid has warped over time and is allowing air/moisture to escape at all four corners. My quick fix for this was to put some electric tape over the seal where the lid meets the base and what do ya know? The temp and humidity are rock solid now!!! I really just wanted to share in case anyone else has seen these kind of issues. Currently on day 4 with no issues at all.
